I am not a victim. And also, I am not done healing. Healing is a lifelong journey.
The interesting thing is: punishment of the man who hurt me has never been part of my story. Warning other women about him, was also never a possibility. When I think about the dozens of women’s sexual trauma stories that I have heard, this detail is something that is fairly unique to me.
